Peak Power Athletics was started by Michelle Ford in 2012 with the aspiration of encouraging everyone to 'embrace their strong' and to find the power of their own strengths - inside and out.
As a teenager, Michelle played every sport under the sun and eventually moved from her hometown of Montreal to Whistler to train with the Canadian Snowboard Team and compete on the professional snowboard circuit. After graduating with a BFA and working as photographer for several years, she decided to go back to her athletic career and became a personal trainer and coach. Michelle currently holds a ACE (American Council of Exercise) personal training certification, USAW Olympic lifting certification as well is a pre/postnatal specialist. When Michelle is not working with clients, she is busy organizing events as a co-founder of Fraser Street Run Club, racing OCR races around North America, spending time in the climbing gym, or running wild on the trails of Squamish BC with her husband and two dogs.
